Hello! My name is Dr. Sandy Gebhart. I couldn’t be more excited to be joining Thunder Basin Orthopaedics this fall as an Orthopaedic Surgeon with a specific interest in problems affecting the hands, wrists and the entire upper extremity. My family and I are very excited to be returning to Wyoming!
I was born and raised in Douglas. After attending the University of Wyoming, I went to the University of Washington for medical school through the WWAMI program. After medical school, I completed my residency training in Orthopaedic Surgery at Vanderbilt University and then spent an extra year of training at Washington University as a hand and microsurgical fellow. I have been extremely fortunate to train at the top institutions throughout the country and now will able to utilize that training to take care of the people of Wyoming!
Being able to join the exceptional team already at Thunder Basin Orthopaedics is certainly a dream come true in many ways. I look forward to being apart of the dedication to going above and beyond and providing exceptional care to every patient with this incredible group.

I have never had a bad experience. Everyone is always so nice and helpful. I wouldn’t change, just keep up with the positive attitudes and energy in the whole building. It makes it feel more relaxed instead of a “doctor’s office.” Thanks for the amazing care that I have received.
